Two Poems In Time.

Buildings and places
locations and spaces.

Pieces of freeze-framed times, we chose to inhabit or vacate.
Just a space in-between other spaces–– that once was born into the overall 'timeline'––
We manoeuvre through the opportunities and possibilities.

An abandoned building looks so lonely––
this architecture is the backdrop to some of our fondest memories.

Moments and actions
instances and passions.

Our surroundings make so much of our reality true––
we bring the spaces to life, or the spaces bring us to life––
these spaces are the universe, in-between us buzzing with eternal energy.

We're all pieces of the same puzzle, trying to find home––
we camouflage into our surroundings to see if it fits.

Memories and once-upon-a times
Goodbyes and black tears.

Forever searching for the magic, it's sprinkled over the mundane.
I can fly, don't you believe me? It could be true; I've never tried.
We are thinking stardust you know, a very pretentious kind.

We're made from the universe, it sings an improvised melody––
we're depended on, we're the array of notes.

Faint music and broken piano keys
Mirages and fading colours.
