We've overcomplicated life. We've compromised the natural order of things, and what's more we've gotten complacent. Theres a flow to it all, a set of rules nature follows, that works…it work's without us meddling. Our mind's may be our biggest adversary, it feeds our ego, our ego feed's our thoughts, our thoughts feed our actions, and we act like we're superior to nature, when in actuality we are also, nature. We try and figure things out, we conclude answer's that we accept undoubtedly as truth, and this from the people who once thought with all sincerity that the world was flat––it's true until it isn't, that's how it works; which means that there's a heavy chance all we believe to be true, might not be. Why the need to know all, why the need for superiority and detachment from every other living species (over 8 million species, not the amount of them, just the amount of groups of entities we've managed to track, take in mind the ocean is pretty much a big question mark). We think our brains are what sets us apart, and it may be so, but it is our demise not our rise. We try and control the uncontrollable, we try to solve the unsolvable and we try and stop the inevitable. We live to work, and distract ourselves with the extremely temporary materialistic life we've taken on, based on––things, money, looks. Which of these 3 elements will do absolutely anything for us, when it comes time to leave this Earth? when you're about to die, will any of these things, or lack of them, be important?. Then why, oh why do we waste our time and energy on such things? why not focus on love, companionship, friendship, simplicity, knowledge and self-awareness. Would any of these things be something you'd regret on your death bed?

We're meant to be part of nature, but we kill animals in bulk, not just to 'survive', we domesticate other's– free of will, we cut down trees that give us oxygen, not to mention beauty, we take land and destroy it like it's our own. We're killing our home, and by home I mean Earth. We're so governed by the law's of each country, we forget to respect and listen to the laws of nature––the real leader, the silent leader that wishes so much we would stop this constant harassment to our own home, people, and friends. If we were one with nature, there would be such overwhelming tranquility and beauty, not to mention so much of our worries and burdens would just …dissipate because they wouldn't matter. Let's switch everything off, and just face ourselves, distraction is just that, let's face what we're distracting ourselves from.

Just a thought.
