Fade out to black.

When I think of you, I shake my head ...until you fall out.
When I see you in my mind, I blink a thousand times a second, to replace you with black.
When I remember you, I sigh... and think of any other possible thing.

I am finally over it, I don't love or need you anymore, but it doesn't make it easy.

When I wake up from a dream with you, I open my eyes really wide, take a breath and turn over.
When I see something that reminds me of you, I look away, and focus on something else.
When I notice couples, a lot like we were, I smile for them, then look down... for myself.
When I miss you even the tiniest bit, I wipe any apparent tear with force from my face, and remind myself, you weren't for me.

I am finally over it, I don't love or need you anymore, but I might miss you every now and then, and that's ok.
