[Part 1]

She adjusts her hair in the mirror, and runs down the stairs––
the love of her life is waiting nervously, he runs his fingers through his hair.

She stops at the last step, and can't hide her smile anymore––
his eyes widen as he sees her; he looks down shyly to the floor.

She giggles to herself, and walks closer to where he stands––
He looks at her as he takes a few steps and extends both of his hands.

She takes them softly in her own, and the feeling is suddenly mutual.
They need each other from that moment on. It's inevitably crucial.

[Part 2]

10 years later they lay asleep, holding hands over the sheets––
He wakes up gently smiling. Grazes her feet as he watches her sleep.

He blows air on her face softly, and she lets out a few adorable sighs––
He lays on his side and caresses her face until she opens her eyes.

She whispers "hello" with a wink, as she begins to stretch out her arms––
he gives her a kiss on her neck, on her cheek, then all the way up to her palms.

She lays her body on top of him, every part of their skin touching––
"I missed you", she says, looking deep in his eyes, her cheeks naturally blushing.

[Part 3]

She's holding her daughters hand on one side as he holds onto the other––
"can you believe it?" she says to him "we... are mother and father."

He smiles a beautiful smile, and gives her a tap on the bum––
"hey, I was wondering, what do you think about having another one?"

Her face lights up! And they both stop in the middle of the street––
time freezes all around them as they embrace – a sight so genuinely sweet.

He purposefully gets down on one knee, "I want you to be mine forever"––
Her eyes well up with happy tears, "we were born to be together"

[Part 4]

"I would like to toast my husband, on this very special day––
It's been 50 years since we found each other that beautiful day in May."

He stands up with tears in his eyes, and sits her down on his knee––
"as soon as I saw you, I knew we'd be here. You are the only one for me."

Their daughter's stand up, and walk up to them both crying from happiness––
"We love you so much. You both deserve the world, don't settle for anything less."

The four of them hug and say their "I love you's" while a band plays their song––
the second they met, it was meant to be… and fate my dear, is never wrong.
